Due to our expanding work load, DWC have taken on a new Assistant Consultant. Matthew Guy has a BSc (Hons) in Biology and has spent the last year volunteering at the Somerset Environmental Records Centre. Whilst there he carried out a series of pond and botanical surveys as well as protected species surveys. Prior to this he assisted on a research project studying the ecology of commercial willow stands and helped set up a nature reserve in Ecuador for the new season. In his spare time Matt enjoys a bit of canoeing, but mostly relaxing.
